So, our water inlet valve is apparently going bad - it will work with hot water but not cold or warm is too slow and we get the E10 error message.  We checked the hoses, checked the filter screen on the back and it was clear.  After doing some research online, we figured out the part we needed and ordered it.  (Even looked on Frigidaire's website to make sure it was THE right one.  We get it and - well, it looks right but when my husband went to put it in, it's missing the input for the thermistor hook-up.   I called Frigidare's parts and they were not very helpful (other than to tell me - their info shows 13471210 as the replacement part.    The part number of the one that's in there now is 13471220.

So...now I'm stumped.  If it's the right part and they've updated - what do we do with the thermistor wire hookup?  Does it automatically know that it doesn't need it or should I just search and try to find the original part number that's in it now?

THANKS!!!

It sounds to me like they did indeed send you the wrong part.  The best thing to do for you, this is Kimberly, since Joe is out and I didn't remember to get him to phone you yesterday, sorry, is go to SearsParts.com  and plug in your model number.  Look for that part and see if it says the same part number they sent you.  If not then yes they sent you the wrong part.  Frigidaire can be difficult to work with at times.  I will remember to have Joe give you a ring when he gets back in later..... in the meantime see if the part looks the same as what you have and matches number wise and let me know.

When I go to searsparts.com and frigidaire and everywhere, it gives me the part number of the one they sent to me (134371210) - that is slightly different from the one that came out (134371220).  The part they sent will fit and looks the same, it's just there's not the small place to plug in the thermistor wire on the side like the old one.  I don't know who or where to call Frigidaire to find out the difference.   Our washer is a LTF2940ES1

THANKS!!!

You can give me a call today if you would like.  If I was there I would use electrical tape to tape off the end.  They bypassed this on the board so its a moot wire now.  If you want though call me and I can explain further.  Thank you for your question and let me know if you are ok.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!   Seriously, thank you so much Joe!!!  We greatly greatly greatly appreciate this information!!    Thank you again!   I wish that Frigidaire could have told me that...but I guess since you're opening up and getting 'into' the washing machine, they want to make sure the person knows what they're doing.
