PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE:

• We have found that many and most problems with appliances are due to improper maintenance and or use.  So we have implemented a new program entitled Preventative Maintenance.  Please see below for pricing and rates.  Preventative Maintenance programs include our coming out to your location and checking your appliance thoroughly with our "CheckPoint Checklist".  We will also give advice and tips on how you can use your appliance more efficiently.  We have three programs to choose from and can provide more details if you like.  Simply phone us!

Rates:

• Repairs and Installs:  Our trip fee is $45.00 within the Buncombe, Henderson, Polk, and Transylvania Counties**.  Most repair companies charge $69.00 to $79.00 or more for trip fees.  We want you to meet us and see our work. 
  

• If you choose to have us repair your appliance:  All repairs are $90.00 and there is no trip fee.  Whether it takes one, two, four or more hours, only $90.00 plus the price of parts is charged.  All repairs are priced by the job, not by the hour. We give you a firm price first before we start a repair or installation and there are No Hard Pressure Sales. 

• Dryer Vent Cleaning

  Dryer Vent Cleaning. Our pricing will be as follows Dryer Venting up to 10 feet is $75~ Each additional foot thereafter is $5. This will include opening your dryer and cleaning it out as well.

• Appliance Recycling:  FREE for one appliance within the Henderson, Transylvania, and Polk Counties. 
• We will recycle your old appliances.  Simply call us to haul them away! We offer this service one day weekly.  ~We will make sure they are properly recycled at your local metal recycling plant or in the event they do indeed run properly, perhaps you purchased a new appliance and just need yours removed, then we can donate it to a local church group or see that someone in need uses it. 
• There will be a $10.00 gas charge to go outside these counties per applliance.  All appliance recycling is Free with ALL Installations.

WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS

ArchAngel Appliance Repair Service Warranty                828-693-7905

We at ArchAngel Appliance Repair are very proud of the quality of our work. We want to make sure your appliances run trouble-free for a very long time.  We want our customers to be satisfied, so our promises are here in writing and given to you on the date of service. If you have any questions concerning your warranty please call and we will explain our policies and warranty terms.  
 
WHAT IS COVERED

90 Day Limited Warranty on parts and labor. For the first 90 days, ArchAngel Appliance will provide a free on-site service call for your appliance if the repairs are related to the original service. If your appliance has any other problems within 90 days from the day of original repair, we promise to fix it with a 40% discount on labor for the second service call.  ArchAngel Appliance warrants any parts installed on your appliances from the original date of service unless otherwise stated. The original receipt must be retained for proof of warranty. Non-payment of service voids any warranties. ArchAngel Appliance will service your appliance on-site, within our normal service area only. At our option, we will repair your appliance with like and/or similar parts. If the appliance is serviced by anyone other than  ArchAngel Appliance, this warranty becomes null and void.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Improper installation and maintenance by the customer.
Replacement of house fuses, resetting circuit breakers or turning on water valves.
Failure of the product if it is used for other than its intended purpose, abuse or used commercially unless noted in a contract between you and us (ie. Apartment building contracts.).
Parts that becomes no longer available from the manufacturer.
Normal wear, corrosion, or cosmetic damage and/or other damage that does not affect functionality.
Electric or Electronic parts damaged do to short circuits, power surges, or     acts of nature.
Sealed system refrigeration repairs that involve leaks or blockages when the origin of problem cannot be determined.
Written copy provided with every repair ON DATE OF SERVICE.  Copy may be obtained by calling office.
This warranty is extended to the original appliance Original Owner/ Consumer only. This warranty shall be effective 90 days from the date of repair.  The warranty provided herein is in lieu of all other express warranties and implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for intended use which are limited in duration to the periods defined above and below.
As a condition precedent to this Warranty, the Original Owner/ Consumer must notify ArchAngel Appliance Repair Service., at 77 Evans Road, Hendersonville, NC 28739, 828-693-7905, within ninety (90) days from the date of repair of existing problems. Failure to comply with this notification, within the time provided, will relieve ArchAngel Appliance Repair from any responsibility under this Warranty.

• Job Description - Appliance Repair and Installation Technician Trainee
  "This position is a trainee position to become a repair technician responsible for the repair of appliances in the customer’s home.
  Products repaired include the following home appliances: Washers & Dryers, Gas & Electric Stoves, Microwave Ovens, Dishwashers, Trash Compactors, Garbage Disposers, Refrigeration, and other major home appliances.
  This position provides timely and quality repairs of customers’ products while maintaining high customer service. The technician is the first line contact with the customer and therefore represents our company.
  Must be willing to train to troubleshoot, repair, install, and test the products."
   
• Qualifications:
• Must demonstrate prior work and or school experience to prove ability to fulfill job requirements. Some prior experience is acceptable.  We will train the right individual.
• Computer literate, Clean Driving Record a must. High School or Equivalent. Technical School and EPA certification a Plus.
• Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments-Punctuality
• Successfully complete all training elements in satisfactory time frames and successfully PASS necessary state testing. Will Not be promoted to Full Service Technician until Lead Technician deems fit and ready to perform duties as well as fully complete all "training quadrants".
• Be able to lift 70 + pounds on a continuous basis.
• Be computer literate and able to learn computer programs of various natures.
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous repair service. Be able to communicate satisfactorily with both customers and company team members.
• Continuously look for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards. Once being promoted to Full Technician you will man your own truck but as a trainee you will ride along with another Full Technician.
• Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, organized truck
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned- Additionally, technician trainee will provide inventory backup or office work when calls are not scheduled, not in training, or not doing field work. Trainee positions are to be aware watch and learn and to assist whenever possible in your hands-on learning.
• Be willing to sign an employment contract detailing job description of the position being offered and accepted; The compensation that will be paid; Whether the employment is for a set length of time or at will; Specifics regarding vacation time and sick leave and whether such time accrues from year to year; And the responsibilities of both parties with regards to the work to be done and the work environment.

• Trainees receive a hourly wage in relation to field trainee wages. Raises are given in relation to performance and or promotions.
• Medical and Insurance benefits are currently not available for Trainee Positions.
